A few days ago the Horizon 2020 Project research project RESTORE has successfully finished.
RESTORE (Renewable Energy-based District Heating and Cooling) project came to a successful end, marking the completion of an inspiring collaboration with CENER Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables, Politecnico di Milano, Technische Universität Wien, ENERBASQUE, Turboden, Aalborg CSP, Babes-Bolyai University, Prospex Institute, Solites, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and ANDRITZ.
At SimTech, we are proud to have contributed with the thermodynamic modelling of the RESTORE system and through the development of IPSE GO, the cloud-based process simulation platform that was the basis for implementing the virtual use cases.
A big thank you to all RESTORE partners for the great cooperation and valuable input and feedback during the development of IPSE GO.
The journey doesn’t end here: The IPSE GO platform lives on and helps engineers, researchers and students to design efficient, renewable, and flexible energy systems. Many of the new features and capabilities that emerged during RESTORE have been integrated into IPSE GO and will continue to evolve, benefiting all users.
